It is with deep sadness that we issue the following statement.
During the practice session for the 401-750cc Support Class Stephen Larkin tragically died following an accident at the Sweep.
At the request of the family the races are going ahead on Sunday. The family have asked me to pass on their good wishes to all the competitors.
There will be a collection around the track for Stephens Family.

R.I.P Myles Byrne #32, I'm sure all of us fans are like the road race competiors and organisers in being deeply saddend at the tragic loss of Myles on Saturday at Skerries. As kells was Myles's club I would hope that all racing fans turn out at the kells road races 2010 as both a mark of respect and a tribute to Myles. |
