Anti-Doping Details
The Anti-Doping Rules, like Competition rules, are sports rules governing the conditions under which sport is played.
Participants accept these rules as a condition of participation in sport.
These Anti-Doping Rules are not intended to be subject to, or limited by, the requirements and legal standards applicable to criminal proceedings or employment matters.
The policies and minimum standards set forth in the Code and implemented in these Anti-Doping Rules represent the consensus of a broad spectrum of stakeholders with an interest in fair sport and should be respected by all courts and adjudicating bodies.
The Anti-Doping Rules implement the mandatory and other portions of the World Anti-Doping Programme, including the Code, the International Standards and the Models of Best Practice.
These Anti-Doping Rules were created for the benefit and assistance of Participants and National Governing Bodies.
The adoption of these Anti-Doping Rules by National Governing Bodies will greatly assist Participants and National Governing Bodies in ensuring that they are in compliance with the Anti-Doping Rules of their International Federations and with the Code.
