Statement from Kells MCRC

It is with deep sadness that Kells MCRC issues the following Press Release.  On Saturday 17th July Stephen Larkin died in a tragic accident during the practice session for the 401-750cc Support Race.  At the request of the family the Kells Road Races will go ahead on Sunday 18th.  Both his wife Katherine, father Gerry and brother Michael stated that it is what Stephen would have wanted, he loved the racing. The family have asked me to pass on their good wishes to all competitors tomorrow and they hope that the racing goes well. Michael will be at Kells on Sunday and wishes everyone the best. There will be a collection around the track for Stephens Family. Kells MCRC would like to express their sympathy to all the Larkin Family and to all Stephens many friends.
